Anti-Tuberculose Overprint – 1964 – Perforated
To dispose of large quantities of the Red Cross Centenary issue that had been reprinted an overprint was designed to apply to the stamps and the souvenir sheets. The stamps were issued as 12-perforates, imperforated and rouletted and the souvenir sheets were imperforated and rouletted.

The Anti-Tuberculose overprint exists as a double overprint which also includes single, double or triple overprint of the Cross of Loraine with the extra crosses being either red or green. The error was created under the Baroody Contract with the intention of sale to the philatelic market.

In addition to the Anti-Tuberculosis overprinted stamp issues the two types of Red Cross souvenir sheets were also overprinted. In each case all four values of Red Cross souvenir sheets were overprinted.
The Imperforate souvenir sheets were numbered in black in the upper left corner. The numbered souvenir sheets are presumed to be from the original printing as they were used on the First Day Covers.

In 1964 a set of stamps commemorating the Tokyo Olympics was issued. The set consisted of 10 values and was issued both as perforated and imperforated. In addition to the stamps a souvenir sheet was issue.
The values issued were 1np, 2np, 3np, 4np, 5np, 10np, 20np, 30np 40np and 1r.

The Tokyo Olympics – 1964 – Perforated – Blurry Gymnast
With the Tokyo Olympic issue being printed by Harrison & Son there are no recorded errors so far, however, the stamps can be found with a slight misalignment of the coloring of the gymnast. The coloring overlaps the outlining of the gymnast resulting in a blurry impression which appears slightly double. This variety is included here for reference and is presumed to be found on all the values.
