The stamps were issued as 12-perforates, imperforated and rouletted and the souvenir sheets were imperforated and rouletted.

They are typically darker shades of the original colors and are explained by the additional printings that were done by Stephen.

The Tokyo Olympics – 1964 – Perforated In 1964 a set of stamps commemorating the Tokyo Olympics was issued. The set consisted of 10 values and was issued both as perforated and imperforated. In addition to the stamps a souvenir sheet was issue. 

The values issued were 1np, 2np, 3np, 4np, 5np, 10np, 20np, 30np 40np and 1r.

The Tokyo Olympics – 1964 – Perforated – Blurry Gymnast With the Tokyo Olympic issue being printed by Harrison & Son there are no recorded errors so far, however, the stamps can be found with a slight misalignment of the coloring of the gymnast. The coloring overlaps the outlining of the gymnast resulting in a blurry impression which appears slightly double. This variety is included here for reference and is presumed to be found on all the values.
