Innsbruck Olympic Overprint – 1964 – 2nd Printing Red Shield
The second printing of the red shield issues was done in order to create a multitude of "errors". The overprints were created on the low value stamps of the World Scout Jamboree issue with 4 values recorded being the 1np, 2np, 3np and 5np values.
While the shields appear to be the same as the first printing of each color, the date, writing and rings are much thicker than the first printing making the two printings very easy to tell apart.
The normal upright overprint is found in various positions on the stamps with the positioning of the red shield equally inconsistent.
