To commemorate Traffic Day in 1966 Kuwait issued a set of two stamps. The values issued were 10 Fils and 20 Fils.

Blood Bank Day – 1966
To create awareness about the need to donate blood Kuwait issued a set of two stamps on the occasion of Blood Bank Day. The values issued were 4 Fils and 8 Fils.

Winston Churchill Commemoration – Airmail Overprint – 1966
After the original Churchill stamps were printed and perforated it was decided to reissue the set as an airmail set. This was done by printing a black border around the stamps and the words "AIR MAIL" in black, placed vertically, on the left side of the stamps in the white panel. All four values were overprinted.
The Third Definitive Issue – 1966
On 30 May 1966 the 3rd definitive set of stamps was issued. The set consists of 14 values being 5np, 10np, 15np, 20np, 25np, 35np, 40np, 60np, 1r, 1.25rs, 1.50rs, 3rs, 5rs and 10rs.

To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of First Crude Oil Shipment Kuwait issued a set of two stamps on the occasion of Blood Bank Day. The values issued were 20 Fils and 45 Fils.

Oil Exploration – The Land Series – 1966
On 2 July 1966 a dual set of stamps commemorating the discovery of oil offshore in Dubai waters was issued in the form of a Land and a Sea set. The Land set of stamps consists of six values being 5np, 15np, 25np, 35np, 50np and 70np.

In addition to the set of six stamps two souvenir sheets were also issued – one being perforated and illustrating the 70np stamp and one being imperforated and illustrating a 1r stamp with a design that was not part of the set of stamps.

Gulf Arab States Summit Conference – 1966
On 23 July 1966 a set of stamps commemorating the 1965 Gulf Arab States Summit Conference held in Dubai was issued. The set consists of three values being 35np, 60np and 150np.
The stamps were issued in sheets of ten stamps with two horizontal se-tenant labels at the bottom of each sheet. The face value of each stamp only shows the “p” – i.e. 35p, 60p and 150p, making it the only set of stamps where the “n” was omitted from the currency.

Gulf Arab States Summit Conference – 1966 – Imperforate Proof
Imperforate proofs exist for the issue where the text and numbers are printed in silver instead of the issued gold. Interestingly, the use of silver makes it much easier to read the text and denomination of the stamps.
