10th Anniversary of Qatar Postage Stamps – 1968
A commemorative set of six stamps was issued in 1968 to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the introduction of postage stamps in Qatar in 1957. The values issued were 1D, 2D, 3D, 60D, 1.25 Rupee and 2 Rupees.

To celebrate the 7th National Day of Kuwait a set of four stamps was issued. The values were 8 Fils, 10 Fils, 15 Fils and 20 Fils.

Arab Mother's Day - 1968
On 21 March 1968 Dubai issued its third set of stamps illustrating classic paintings depicting women on the occasion of Arab Mother’s Day. The set consists of four stamps with the values 60dh, 1rl, 1.25rls and 3rls.

Arab Mother's Day – 1968 – Perforated 13½
The Arab Mother’s Day set of stamps was also issued with a perforation of 13½. The 13½ perforated stamps only exist on a slightly yellowish paper and only with the Cancelled-to-Order standard postmark without date.

The International Year for Human Rights – 1968
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the United Nations adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - 1968 was declared The International Year for Human Rights. To commemorate the event the Postal Department of Abu Dhabi issued a set of three postage stamps. The values issued were 35 Fils, 60 Fils and 150 Fils.
There was no official FDC issued on the occasion. However, a “FDC” is found with the canceller used to cancel the First Day Issue of the corresponding aerogramme.

On the occasion of the Human Rights Year in 1968 a commemorative set of six stamps were issued depicting the Emblem of the campaign and various illustrations. The values issued were 1D, 2D, 3D, 60D, 1.25 Riyal and 2 Riyals.

The 1968 Definitive Issue - May 1968
Qatar issued its 3rd definitive set of stamps during 1968, which was issued during the period from 28th of May until 2nd November. A total of 14 stamps were issued with the following values: 5D, 10D, 20D, 25D, 35D, 40D, 60D, 70D, 1R, 1.25R, 1.5OR, 2R, 5 Rupees and 10 Rupees.

The Qatar Postage Due Stamps - 1968
In 1968 Qatar issued its first and only set of postage due stamps with a total of 4 stamps being issued with the values 5dh, 10dh, 20dh and 30dh. The stamps are scarce as stamps and very rare used on underpaid incoming mail. They have been recorded used on outgoing mail.
The 20th Anniversary of the World Health Organization - LAKE IN BAHRAIN - 1968
A commemorative set of 3 stamps issued on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the World Health Organization. The values issued were: 20 Fils, 40 Fils and 150 Fils.
The 20 Fils value is found with a "Lake in Bahrain" flaw seen at the end of the needle.
