The 1st Anniversary of the Accession of Sheikh Zayed Definitive Issue – 1967 To commemorate the first anniversary of the accession of Sheikh Zayed, the postal department of Abu Dhabi issued a set of four postage stamps, which bore the portrait of the ruler. The values issued were 40 Fils, 50 Fils, 60 Fils and 100 Fils. The four stamps replaced the identical values of the set issued on the 1st of April 1967 and were designed with a redrawn portrait of Sheikh Zayed – one, which this time, pleased The Ruler. The earlier issue was withdrawn.
