Paintings from the Baroque Movement – 1967
On 10 July 1967 Dubai issued its first set of stamps illustrating classic paintings being three paintings from the Baroque Movement by Murillo and Rubens. A total of three stamps were issued all of which have the value of 1 Riyal.
The 1st Anniversary of the Accession of Sheikh Zayed Definitive Issue – 1967
To commemorate the first anniversary of the accession of Sheikh Zayed, the postal department of Abu Dhabi issued a set of four postage stamps, which bore the portrait of the ruler. The values issued were 40 Fils, 50 Fils, 60 Fils and 100 Fils.
The four stamps replaced the identical values of the set issued on the 1st of April 1967 and were designed with a redrawn portrait of Sheikh Zayed – one, which this time, pleased The Ruler. The earlier issue was withdrawn.

On 21 August 1967 the fourth definitive set of stamps was issued replacing the 1966 surcharged definitive issue. A total of 10 new stamps were issued with the value of 5dh, 10dh, 20dh, 35dh, 60dh, 1rl, 1.25rls, 3rls, 5rls and 10rls.
